Read it to see how fate-sharing keeps essential connection state at the endpoint hosts, why the network forwards independent datagrams, and where alternate paths, routing recovery, host behavior, management, accounting, and security remain outside that elegant core.

Reading focus: Why survivability outranked service variety, network variety, cost, attachment effort, and accountability in the architecture's ordered goals. How fate-sharing places sequence, acknowledgment, and flow-control state with the hosts whose conversation that state describes.
