# From data to vectors

How a document becomes a point in space: pick properties that matter (length, topic, tone…), score each one, and the scores become coordinates. Two hand-pi

## Public overview

How a document becomes a point in space: pick properties that matter (length, topic, tone…), score each one, and the scores become coordinates. Two hand-picked axes are enough to see clusters form — fiction here, non-fiction there — and the leap to real systems is letting a trained neural network choose hundreds of axes for you instead of two.
